A few days ago, I picked up an Advertising Age. I was thrown back 20 years ago, when I wrote
a few advertisements for political candidates.
They did not win, at least not that time.
I looked at the rates for this Falls TV shows.
Why was Fresh off the Boat at around 120 k for a TV spot and
Modern Family over 200k?
The consumer likes what they like.

Demographics always play a part in your choice of materials.
But as a writer, you have to decide are you writing for a commercial
audience, money or for the afterlife.
